Aftercare

Your artist will go through all tattoo aftercare instructions with you at your appointment and our recommended tattoo aftercare, "Whitfields Tattoo Aftercare Balm", can be purchased at the studio. You will be given an aftercare card to take home with you. 

Keep dressing on until the following morning. 

• Remove dressing with clean hands, wash gently with warm water and unscented soap. 

• Pat dry, don't rub, with kitchen roll or disposable towel. 

• Apply a small amount of Whitfields Balm and and rub in well. 

• Wash and cream tattoo again before you go to bed. 

• Repeat daily until your tattoo is fully healed. 

• Do not pick or scratch your tattoo. Avoid clothes that may rub your tattoo during healing. 

• Do not swim, use a sauna or sunbed whilst your tattoo is healing.
